  2. the rotation of Jupiter filmed
  3. as Voyager approached the giant
  4. planet. The small dot that
  5. comes speeding in on the left
  6. is one of the many moons
  7. of Jupiter.

  9. Even though the planet is 10
  10. times the diameter of Earth, it
  11. rotates much faster. A Jovian
  12. day being only about 10 hours
  13. long. Because of this, the planet
  14. is actually "squashed" a bit at
  15. the poles.
