- the rotation of Jupiter filmed
- as Voyager approached the giant
- planet. The small dot that
- comes speeding in on the left
- is one of the many moons
- of Jupiter.

- Even though the planet is 10
- times the diameter of Earth, it
- rotates much faster. A Jovian
- day being only about 10 hours
- long. Because of this, the planet
- is actually "squashed" a bit at
- the poles.
